An unexpected moment unfolded at the SCD Secret Meet 2026 as a Koenigsegg Regera caught fire at the Silverstone circuit. There’s a video of the same circulating on social media, giving us a few glimpses of the hypercar covered in smoke.

The silver-finished Regera reportedly caught fire while at the track during the exclusive Supercar Driver (SCD) event, a private gathering known for bringing together some of the world’s most exotic cars and passionate owners. Fortunately, the occupants managed to exit the car in time, and no injuries have been reported.

Koenigsegg Regera on fire at Silverstone. Thankfully everyone was okay and the fire was put out before the fire became too dangerous. Hopefully the car can be fixed easily… #koenigsegg #regera #koenigseggregera #hypercars #viral

We can see in the clip that the Koenigsegg Regera comes to a halt on the track. Then the footage cuts to where there’s heavy smoke coming out of the vehicle. The video continues, and we can see people opening the back end of the Regera to get access to the engine. A man can also be spotted using a fire extinguisher. A cloud of thick smoke appears from the rear as well.

The SCD Secret Meet is a closed-door event held at iconic venues like Silverstone, offering members track access, high-speed runs, and a rare chance to experience hypercars in a controlled environment. But incidents like these can happen at any time and any place. We’re just glad that no one got injured!
